Globus is a service that makes it easy to move, sync, and share large
amounts of data. Globus will manage file transfers, monitor performance,
retry failures, recover from faults automatically when possible, and
report the status of your data transfer. It is particularly useful for
large data transfers and for sharing data, and is utilized by many
Biowulf users.
A Globus Research Data Management Workshop, sponsored by NEI, will be
held on August 22-23, 2023 at NIH in Bethesda, Maryland and online. The
workshop is free but registration is required.
All Biowulf users, and anyone interested in learning about or better
utilizing Globus features, are encouraged to attend.
