Trial license for Sentieon Genomics variant calling tools on biowulf
Date: 09 June 2017 15:06:03
From: Wolfgang Resch
Hi,
We have a trial license for Sentieon Genomics tools
(http://www.sentieon.com/) on the biowulf cluster until the end of July.
Sentieon genomics tools are a commerical re-implementation of the best
practices pipelines for germline and tumor/normal variant calling. They
avoid stochastic steps like downsampling of high coverage areas while
reportedly reducing computation time. The trial license covers 1000
cores each for the germline and somatic tools.
If you are interested in testing you can find documentation including
links to the full manual at
https://hpc.nih.gov/apps/sentieon.html
Please let us know if you encounter any issues. Also feel free to
provide us with feedback about your experience with the tools.
Regards,
Wolfgang
