Biowulf Users,
Additional solid-state disks have been added to a limited number of nodes allowing the amount of local scratch space that can be allocated for a job to be increased from 800GB to 2400GB.
For example, a job requiring 1.2TB of local disk space (lscratch) can now be allocated with the command,
sbatch --gres=lscratch:1200 yourbatchscript
Please see https://hpc.nih.gov/docs/userguide.html#local for detail on using local disk. There is also a video available at https://youtu.be/zDuR2WNpJeA.
