SimVascular is an open-source software platform for creating patient-specific models of the cardiovascular system from medical images. It includes tools for image segmentation, 3D model construction, mesh generation, blood-flow simulation, fluid–structure interaction, cardiac modeling, and analysis. It also supports simplified 0D and 1D models that can be coupled with detailed 3D simulations to represent physiological conditions.
To run it interactively on biowulf, we recommend connecting via HPC OnDemand, then opening a terminal to load the module and run like so:
[user@cn1234 ]$ module load simvascular [user@cn1234 ]$ simvascular &
